I started the Velo performance trip to Mallorca with some trepidation as had never been on a training camp before. The nerves soon faded away as Simon and Pete were so welcoming, and managed to attract a super-friendly group of fellow riders.
Routes were planned with meticulous detail, with plenty of fuelling stops (a lot of coffee and cake was consumed!) which also ensured we stayed together as a group, only separating to do the climbs at our own pace. Simon and the team were always on hand to answer questions and share their extensive knowledge and experience whether it was training, nutrition, or bike related. I have come away feeling much stronger and more confident on the bike, and with a great new group of cycling friends!

It was a truly brilliant week.
Mallorca April 2025 was my first time on an organised cycling coaching holiday, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Simon and Pete were attentive and supportive to the whole group. The coaching was subtle on point and helping me understand cadence, how to climb and descend quicker. The organisation was relaxed but excellent which led to a great atmosphere. As a group, we were from a very diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences but really came together through a shared love of riding our bikes, enjoying the brilliant routes, climbs and cake stops. Made some great friends, rode some beautiful roads and came home a better bike rider.
